Discover the magic of the Lun olives

The olive groves of Lun represent one of the most peaceful and beautiful oases on the island of Pag. Walking through this area, it is hard not to be amazed by the size and beauty of the trees, which for centuries have borne witness to the natural and cultural heritage of this region.

On more than 400 hectares grow around 80,000 olive trees, among which cultivated varieties, especially Oblica, have been grafted for centuries. Particularly remarkable are about 1,500 wild olive trees, 5 to 8 meters high, making this location unique in the Adriatic. Due to its extraordinary botanical value, the area was declared a botanical reserve in 1963.

The oldest olive tree in Lun is more than 2,000 years old, ranking it among the three oldest olive trees in the world, together with those in Greece and Israel.

Under the canopy of these ancient trees, it is easy to find peace, restore energy, and feel a special connection with nature, far from the noise of the city.
