The trails are suitable for different fitness levels, ranging from demanding routes for experienced cyclists to easier paths for recreational rides.

One of the most popular routes is Lun – Novalja, which is frequented daily by many cyclists enjoying panoramic views. There are also the Gardens of Lun olive trees near the Figurica house, ideal for rides through the groves in the early morning freshness, as well as the hinterland of Novalja with its vast fields, vineyards, and olive groves. The cycling trails of Pag are a perfect opportunity to explore hidden spots and enjoy nature at your own pace.

Hiking trails

The island of Pag offers numerous hiking trails that combine natural beauty and historical landmarks. Among the trails we particularly highlight are the Life on Mars Trail, which leads through the rocky landscapes of the island’s moonlike terrain with stunning sea views; the Svetojanj trail to a 6th-century fortress overlooking the Velebit Channel; and the ascent to Sveti Vid, the island’s highest peak (349 m), offering spectacular views of Pag and the surrounding islands. These are just some of the trails, as the island offers many more routes of varying difficulty, ideal for exploring, enjoying panoramas, and discovering local nature and history.

Sea kayaking

The island of Pag offers excellent opportunities for kayaking, ideal for those who want to explore the coast and hidden coves at their own pace. While paddling along the crystal-clear sea, you can discover untouched beaches, rocky bays, and small islets, enjoying the silence and views of spectacular landscapes.

Kayaking provides a chance to experience Pag from a completely different perspective – from the sea, far from the crowds – and to discover coves and beaches that cannot be reached on foot. These activities are suitable for both beginners and experienced paddlers, combining fun, recreation, and a unique nature experience.

Gligora Cheese Dairy – Tasting Room and Dairy Tour

The Gligora Cheese Dairy offers a unique experience for all lovers of cheese and tradition. Visitors have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the dairy itself, where, accompanied by an expert guide, they can get an insight into the production process of the award-winning Pag cheese. During the tour, you will discover how the cheese is produced, where it matures and is stored, and hear fascinating stories about the family tradition and the rich history of cheesemaking on Pag.

After the tour, a tasting follows in a modern tasting room, where you can try various types of Gligora cheeses and enjoy the perfect combination of the island’s flavors and aromas. The tasting room, equipped with a video projector, audio system, and podium, is an ideal place for tastings, presentations, and special events.
